Eating Out @ Murugan Idli SHop

I simply love writing about the experience of eating Yummy Food as I'm a foodie. This is not about the regular menu of Murugan Idli but about their buffet! :)
When we heard the NEWS, it was a WoW feel for all my friends, as all of my friends enjoy eating food instead of just eating for the sake of gulping some food inside the gutter.
The buffet had all the menu of Murugan Idli Shop for Rs. 112/-
We started off with Idli's, hot sambar, vada's, different chutneys, sweet pongal, venpongal, all varieties of Dosa's and Oothappam's. Tummy Full :P For the beverage, we can choose between Jigirdhanda, Coffee or milk.
All this for Rs.112/-. The taste is just the same and we can also beat the crowd in the buffet as most of them do not opt for a Buffet.

Do not miss this Chennai!

Maruti Swift - World Record Car Parade in Chennai, Mumbai & Pune

It has been 5 years since Maruti launched its most smartest looking cars "SWIFT" and to set a world record, Maruti had organized for a World Record Car Parade of Swift in Chennai, Mumbai and Pune and they called it "FLAUNT YOUR SWIFT".

Obviously enthused by the idea, we were one amongst the early birds to register and was all set for the ramp on 30th May, 2010 (Sunday). Waking up early on a Sunny Sunday was once enjoyable as we were about to participate in the World Record :)
With all enthusiasm, we reached the venue (Irungukaatukottai - Chennai Racing Club) by 07:00 a.m. and was surprised to see 30 Beauties (Swifts) ahead of us.
After registration, we were provided with a quick breakfast and were all set for the ramp. All the participants were asked to line up with their Swifts and it was Real Flaunting :)
Just seeing one Swift on the road catches the attraction and today the venue was all flooded with Swift, Swift and only Swift. There were about 700 registrations and we were made to go on the race track with coverage from Media and FM.
Getting on the race course by itself was exciting and imagine ramping and speeding there! WOW!
Announcements went on saying "Guiness Record Peple" were there to watch the show.
People had gathered with friends and family. Children had a great deal of fun as there were stalls along the start of the reace course where kids get to play, there were Mehendi counters, Cotton Candy counters and lotta freebies. Man it sure was "SWIFT Thiruvizha".
Only thing, I felt was it could have been more carefully organized as we went beyond the scheduled time and the exits being very narrow, it was extremely difficult and time consuming for 700 cars to squueze out which caused many frustrations amongst the particpants.
All said and done, this is definitely One Pride Moment owning the Hot Car.
